About the event

The aim of the conference is to reflect on the discourses on exclusion that arise in modern science and society. The conference is interdisciplinary, and therefore it is about capturing many perspectives and spaces that we could call "spaces of exclusion". Being in them alienates, dehumanizes, objectifies - places outside of culture and society. We are interested in real contexts and empirical experiences, experiences and scientific thought projects in which patterns, normative systems and relations that create discourses are entangled. We want to grasp both the theoretical and the practical, because these two elements do (co) create the discourse. We are open to proposals for papers on the selection of topics, but we would like them to oscillate around the following disciplines: philosophy, sociology, literary studies, feminist studies, gender studies, studies on alienness, otherness and exclusion, interdisciplinary analysis of cultural texts, studies on discourse, studies on exile, animal studies, science…
